Barru, JurnalPost.com - Barru Regent Andi Ina Kartika Sari officially opened the 2026 Regional Supervision Forum (LARWASDA) of Barru Regency at Baruga Pettu Adae, 6th Floor of the Barru Regency Public Service Mall (MPP), on Tuesday (8/9/2026).
The event, held for the first time within the Barru Regency Government, was initiated by the Barru Regency Regional Inspectorate as a forum for evaluation, coordination, and strengthening the oversight system in regional government administration.
LARWASDA was attended by approximately 150 participants, including heads of regional apparatus organizations (OPD), sub-district heads, village heads, urban village heads, heads of community health centers (Puskesmas), school operational assistance (BOS) fund managers, auditors, and Government Affairs Oversight Officials (PPUPD) from the Inspectorate.
Also present were the Barru Regency Regional Secretary, expert staff, assistants, the Barru Regency Inspector and his staff, the Director of Barru Regional General Hospital, division heads, and representatives from sub-district, village, and urban village governments.
In her remarks, Andi Ina expressed her appreciation to the Barru Regency Regional Inspectorate for initiating the LARWASDA. According to her, oversight is a crucial component in building an effective, transparent, and responsible government.
"Oversight is not merely about finding faults; more importantly, it is a guidance instrument to ensure that all government programs and activities are carried out in accordance with regulations, effectively, efficiently, transparently, and accountably," said Andi Ina.
She emphasized that every budget managed by the government must be accountable and used entirely for the benefit of the people of Barru Regency.
"Every single cent of the budget that you manage must be accounted for. The goal is the welfare of the people of Barru Regency. Nothing else," she asserted.
Barru Regent Demands Immediate Follow-up on BPK Findings
During the event, Andi Ina gave special attention to the follow-up of audit findings from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the Inspectorate's oversight results.
She requested that all heads of OPDs and budget managers not delay the resolution of any findings reported by oversight agencies.
"Do not delay BPK findings. Follow them up immediately. Because BPK findings can become a ticking time bomb for us if they are not resolved promptly," she said.
According to Andi Ina, audit and oversight results should be viewed as a preventive mechanism so that administrative or budget management issues do not escalate into legal problems.
"Do not let it happen that at the end of your service, when you should be entering retirement happily, you instead face legal issues," she said.
Therefore, she requested that all regional government ranks be more orderly in managing administration, finance, and program implementation.
Asserts No 'Dowries' for the Regent and Vice Regent
The Barru Regent also emphasized that she and the Vice Regent of Barru never ask for or expect personal rewards from the regional government ranks in carrying out their duties.
She asked the heads of OPDs and all civil servants to work professionally and manage the budget according to regulations and the public interest.
"Please manage the budget well. The goal is for the benefit of the community. Do not expect to give any 'dowry' to the Regent or the Vice Regent for anything. That does not exist," she asserted.
According to Andi Ina, integrity and performance must be the primary foundation for every civil servant in carrying out their government mandate.
She hopes that all regional apparatuses will not only be oriented toward completing administrative tasks but also ensure that every program provides tangible benefits to the community.
Encourages Improvement in KPK's MCP
In addition to highlighting the BPK and Inspectorate audit results, Andi Ina also requested that all OPDs improve their achievements in the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP).
She hopes that the implementation of MCP indicators is not just done to fulfill administrative obligations, but becomes part of the awareness of all regional apparatuses in strengthening corruption prevention.
"I hope we implement the MCP out of self-awareness and personal responsibility. Show that while our MCP status was previously yellow, God willing, we will become a green region," she hoped.
According to her, improving the quality of oversight cannot be solely burdened on the Inspectorate as the Government Internal Oversight Apparatus (APIP).
Synergy from all elements of government is required, starting from regional apparatuses, sub-district governments, village and urban village governments, to other stakeholders.
This synergy is considered important to strengthen the principles of good governance and clean governance in regional government administration.
Asks OPDs Not to Keep Problems to Themselves
Closing her remarks, Andi Ina asked the heads of OPDs, sub-district heads, urban village heads, village heads, and all ranks of the Barru Regency government to improve communication and coordination when facing problems in carrying out their duties.
She emphasized that every obstacle should be communicated immediately so that a joint solution can be found before it develops into a larger issue.
"If there is a problem, do not think this is a problem that you must handle alone. Share that problem with us, so that the burden we carry can be lightened, and God willing, we will find the best solution for the safety of us all," she expressed.
Andi Ina hopes that LARWASDA can be a momentum to strengthen the commitment of all regional government ranks in improving the quality of oversight and accelerating the follow-up of audit results.
This oversight includes regional financial management, Village Funds, BOS Funds, and the implementation of various government programs at the OPD, sub-district, village, and urban village levels.
Strengthening oversight is also expected to support the achievement of the Barru Regency Government's vision in realizing a society that is more quickly just, advanced, sustainable, and prosperous.
LARWASDA Attended by 150 Participants
In the committee report, it was stated that the 2026 Barru Regency LARWASDA aims to encourage transparent and accountable government administration.
The activity is also directed at increasing the understanding of regional apparatuses regarding internal control systems and risk management, as well as accelerating the follow-up of audit results from the BPK, APIP, and other oversight agencies.
A total of 150 participants attended the activity, consisting of OPD leaders, sub-district heads, urban village heads, village heads, heads of community health centers, BOS fund managers, auditors, and PPUPD from the Barru Regency Inspectorate.
The LARWASDA series includes presentations on the 2026 Regional Inspectorate oversight results, the submission of audit follow-up achievements, recommendations to regional apparatuses and village governments, as well as discussions and commitment strengthening to resolve various oversight recommendations.
