Makassar, JurnalPost.com — Barru Regent Andi Ina Kartika Sari, S.H., M.Si., served as a guest speaker at the 2026 Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) Batch III, hosted by the National Institute of Public Administration (LAN RI) Center for Government Management Policy Learning and Strategy in Makassar on Wednesday (9/9/2026).
During the session, Andi Ina presented on the topic of “National Insight, Pancasila Leadership, and Integrity” before 40 participants representing various regional government agencies and ministries.
The Regent emphasized that the values of Pancasila must serve as the primary foundation for leadership, particularly for administrators who hold strategic positions in government bureaucracy.
“An administrator is not only expected to be professional in government management but must also possess strong national insight, uphold Pancasila, and maintain integrity in every decision-making process and public service,” she stated.
According to Andi Ina, a strong sense of national insight is essential to ensure that government officials are not easily swayed by narrow interests that could hinder public service delivery.
Furthermore, she noted that integrity is a fundamental pillar in building public trust in the government. This integrity must be reflected in every policy, decision, and service provided by officials to the community.
“Pancasila is our compass in leadership. Integrity is non-negotiable. Without both, good governance remains merely a concept,” she asserted.
The 2026 PKA Batch III was attended by 40 participants from various regional governments and ministries, including East Luwu Regency, Makassar City, Morowali Regency, Banggai Regency, Takalar Regency, Mamuju Regency, Luwu Regency, Mamasa Regency, Yapen Islands Regency, Maybrat Regency, and West Seram Regency.
The training was also attended by participants from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
The Head of the LAN RI Center for Government Management Policy Learning and Strategy in Makassar, Dr. Muhammad Aswan, M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the Regent’s participation as a speaker.
He noted that Andi Ina Kartika Sari’s experience in leading a region provides valuable perspectives and inspiration for participants to develop a leadership style oriented toward public service.
The presence of a regional head as a speaker is also expected to provide a realistic overview of leadership challenges within the bureaucracy, ranging from decision-making processes to building public confidence in government administration.
At the conclusion of her presentation, the Barru Regent urged all PKA Batch III participants not to treat the training material merely as classroom knowledge.
She expressed hope that the values of leadership, national insight, Pancasila, and integrity gained during the training would be applied tangibly in their respective duties.
“I hope the knowledge and values we discussed today do not stop in the classroom. Implement them in your respective workplaces to support the realization of professional, transparent, and service-oriented governance,” she concluded.
