CEPU, JurnalPost.com – The Professional Certification Institute of the Human Resources Development Center for Oil and Gas (LSP PPSDM Migas) has begun implementing a new policy regarding the issuance of competency certification documents.

As of September 1, 2025, LSP PPSDM Migas no longer issues physical A5-sized certificates for participants in either regular or collaborative programs. Instead, competency certificates are now available in an electronic format, or E-Certificate, which can be accessed independently by participants.

Although the physical A5 certificates have been discontinued, participants will still receive their physical competency ID cards as before. The change applies only to the A5 certificate document, which has now been shifted to a digital format.

This policy is part of an effort to digitize certification services, ensuring that the document distribution process is faster and more efficient.

Sonden Winarto, Coordinator of HR Development Certification at PPSDM Migas, stated that participants who have been declared competent can download their certificates through their individual accounts on the official PPSDM Migas certification portal.

“Participants who have been declared competent can download their A5 E-Certificate by following these steps,” said Sonden Winarto.

To access the document, participants must first log in to the PPSDM Migas certification portal via portal.ppsdmmigas.id/sertifikasi/ using the same account used during the competency test registration process.

After successfully logging in, participants can open the Certification History menu located on the left-hand panel of the page.

Next, participants need to select the printer icon or image on the available certification data. From the options that appear, click the Competency Certificatemenu.

The E-Certificate will then be displayed and can be immediately downloaded and saved in PDF format on a computer, laptop, or other device.

In summary, the steps to download the LSP PPSDM Migas E-Certificate are as follows:

  1. Log in to the PPSDM Migas certification portal.
  2. Sign in using your individual account.
  3. Open the Certification Historymenu.
  4. Click the printer icon.
  5. Select Competency Certificate.
  6. Download and save the certificate in PDF format.

The implementation of digital certificates also provides convenience for participants in storing and managing competency documents without having to rely on physical copies.

For professionals in the oil and gas sector, a competency certificate is a vital document that can be used to support professional records and employment administrative requirements.

With the electronic format, the document can be stored on digital devices and accessed whenever needed.

Digitizing certificates is also considered a way to reduce paper usage and accelerate the distribution of documents to participants who have completed the certification stages.

Through this change, LSP PPSDM Migas hopes to make certification services more practical while supporting the digital management of competency documents.

This step also reflects a shift in administrative service patterns that increasingly rely on electronic systems to improve efficiency, ease of access, and long-term document management.
