This Management student from the 1 class of 2023 at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is also dedicated to transforming his personal experiences and knowledge into learning resources for his peers.

Reza, affectionately known as Afa, is known for his active involvement in academic, organizational, entrepreneurial, and digital education development activities. Amidst his busy schedule as a student, he founded MabaPath, an educational startup focused on developing the potential of Indonesian students.

Reza's academic journey is marked by numerous milestones. He was named the First Outstanding Student of FEB UNAIR in 2024, received the Beasiswa Unggulan scholarship in 2024, and was honored as the FEB UNAIR Student of the Year in 2025.

Beyond these accolades, Reza is the founder and first President of 180 Degrees Consulting UNAIR. He has developed over 30 e-books and digital learning modules, and he actively shares educational content via his Instagram account, @afa_rm, which has more than 13 thousand followers.

These diverse experiences served as the foundation for Reza to build MabaPath, a platform that connects students with the information, learning materials, and mentorship they need to develop both their academic and non-academic skills.

The Journey to Achievement at FEB UNAIR

Studying in the Management program at FEB UNAIR provided Reza with the opportunity to deepen his knowledge while honing skills outside the classroom.

From the beginning of his studies, he focused not only on academics but also engaged in competitions, organizations, research, and various activities related to leadership and entrepreneurship.

These efforts led to him being named the First Outstanding Student of FEB UNAIR in 2024, a significant milestone in his educational journey.

A year later, Reza received further recognition as the FEB UNAIR Student of the Year in 2025.

As a management student, he has a keen interest in business strategy, marketing, product development, and consumer behavior. He has applied these fields not only theoretically but also through his organizational activities and business ventures.

His extensive extracurricular involvement has shaped his understanding of the importance of teamwork, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making.

For him, his experiences as a student serve as preparation for the professional world while creating opportunities to provide value to others.

Scholarship and Student Exchange Experiences

In addition to campus awards, Reza is a recipient of the Beasiswa Unggulan scholarship 2024 from the Indonesian government.

He also secured three scholarships for student exchangeprograms. These opportunities were part of his effort to broaden his educational experience and expand his horizons beyond the regular curriculum.

The scholarship selection process taught him the importance of document preparation, essay writing, interview techniques, and personal branding.

He has since shared this knowledge through educational content and digital learning materials.

In the materials he develops, Reza discusses how to understand scholarship requirements, strategize for selection processes, and identify programs that align with educational and career goals.

He also emphasizes the importance of building a track record during university, whether through academic activities, competitions, organizations, or professional experience.

His experience as a scholarship recipient was a key driver in his decision to develop educational services for students through MabaPath.

Founding MabaPath to Support Student Development

Reza's passion for education and entrepreneurship culminated in the founding of MabaPath.

In this startup, he serves as the Founder and Managing Director, focusing on the development of Indonesian students.

MabaPath is designed as an educational platform that provides learning materials and mentorship services to help students prepare for various opportunities during their studies.

MabaPath covers a diverse range of topics, including scholarship preparation, competitions, organizations, leadership, student exchanges, career development, and personal branding.

Through this platform, students can access materials on essay writing, interview preparation, competition strategies, and the development of skills required for academic and professional success.

Beyond providing information, MabaPath utilizes a learning approach through digital products and mentoring services.

This approach aims to help students understand preparation steps in a structured manner, rather than just providing general information about a program.

In developing MabaPath, Reza leverages the management and marketing knowledge he gained during his studies. He is involved in product development, business management, user needs analysis, and communication strategy.

The experience of building a startup has allowed him to face business challenges firsthand, including designing educational services that are relevant to student needs.

Moving forward, MabaPath is being developed into a student development ecosystem that connects access to information, learning resources, mentorship, and various opportunities for competency enhancement.

Developing Over 30 E-Books and Educational Modules

One of Reza's contributions to digital education is the development of over 30 e-books and learning modules.

The materials he has compiled cover topics relevant to student needs, such as scholarship preparation, selection interviews, business competitions, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

Some of these cover preparations for the Beasiswa Unggulan, LPDP, and Djarum Beasiswa Plus programs. He has also compiled interview question banks, guides for business plan competitions, and collections of business ideas.

Beyond these areas, Reza also develops materials on the use of artificial intelligence (AI), including prompt collections that students can use to support their learning and idea generation.

The development of these e-books and modules stems from his desire to present information in a more systematic and accessible format.

According to his approach, brief information via social media can serve as a starting point to introduce a topic, while more comprehensive learning materials are necessary for students to study a subject in depth.

His activity as an educational content creator is also part of his entrepreneurial journey. Reza combines research, writing, digital product development, and marketing in the process of creating these learning resources.

Some of these digital products are also integrated with MabaPath, which he built as a hub for student education and mentorship.

Founding 180 Degrees Consulting UNAIR

Reza's leadership experience is also evident in his role in founding 180 Degrees Consulting UNAIR.

He served as the Founder and first President of the organization.

180 Degrees Consulting is known as a consulting network that provides support to social organizations through problem analysis and strategic recommendations.

Through project-based consulting, students have the opportunity to apply analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to meet organizational needs.

During the formation of 180 Degrees Consulting UNAIR, Reza was involved in building the organization's foundation, developing the team, and introducing consulting activities to students.

This experience gave him the space to practice leadership and understand how an organization is built and managed.

He also developed his ability to communicate with various stakeholders, formulate strategies, and work with a team to achieve goals.

The skills acquired through this organization have become assets in his entrepreneurial activities and the development of MabaPath.

Actively Sharing Educational Content on Instagram

In addition to running his educational startup, Reza is an active educational content creator on his Instagram account, @afa_rm.

The account has over 13 thousand followers, with content focused on student development, academic achievement, and preparation for various opportunities during university.

Topics covered include scholarships, competitions, organizations, leadership, student exchanges, productivity, personal branding, and entrepreneurship.

Through his content, Reza strives to share experiences and knowledge that can be practically applied by students.

He not only discusses the importance of having goals during university but also the steps that can be taken to prepare for selections and develop skills.

His content targets a wide audience, from high school students preparing for university to new students, active students, and those looking to apply for scholarships or competitions.

His social media activity is also linked to the development of MabaPath. Educational content is used to introduce various topics, while digital learning products and mentoring serve as resources for students who need more in-depth material.

With this approach, Reza aims to make social media not just a place to share information, but a gateway to more directed learning activities.

Expanding Experience Through Research and Consulting

Outside of campus activities, Reza also has experience in research and consulting.

He previously served as a Qualitative Research Intern at Pinnacle Analytics Indonesia and was involved in research activities related to the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

This experience gave him the opportunity to learn about information gathering, market research, qualitative data analysis, and the synthesis of insights for decision-making.

For a management student, this professional experience provided a space to see the application of theories learned during lectures.

His involvement in research activities has strengthened his interest in business strategy, marketing, and understanding user needs.

These skills are also relevant to the development of MabaPath, especially when designing educational materials and services tailored to student needs.

By combining his experience in organizations, research, and entrepreneurship, Reza continues to develop skills applicable across various professional fields.

Building a Supportive Student Ecosystem

Reza's various achievements and activities are linked by a single goal: to help students develop their potential and utilize educational opportunities more effectively.

His recognition as the First Outstanding Student of FEB UNAIR 2024 and FEB UNAIR Student of the Year 2025 are part of his academic journey.

Meanwhile, his experience in obtaining scholarships, founding a consulting organization, developing learning products, and running an educational startup has shaped his understanding of the diverse needs of students.

Through these activities, Reza wants to encourage the formation of a student development ecosystem or high achiever ecosystem, an environment that supports students in learning from one another, sharing experiences, and developing competencies.

This concept does not just emphasize winning awards or competitions. Student development also includes the ability to identify interests, build skills, expand networks, and prepare for life after graduation.

MabaPath is one of the tools Reza has developed to realize this vision.

Through a combination of educational content, e-books, digital modules, and mentoring services, he strives to provide learning resources that help students prepare for various opportunities.

Reza Nafi Rizqi Musyaffa's journey demonstrates how university experiences can evolve into entrepreneurial ventures and educational initiatives.

From academic achievements to building a startup, Reza seeks to connect the knowledge he has gained with the needs of other students.

Through MabaPath, he hopes that more Indonesian students will be able to recognize their potential, prepare for opportunities, and navigate their university years with a clearer sense of purpose.
