Medan, JurnalPost.com — Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH) North Sumatra Representative Office has distributed rice aid to meet the food needs of students at two Quranic boarding schools in North Sumatra.

A total of 30 sacks of rice were handed over to assist with the students' logistical needs. The distribution was carried out directly by the Head of the Program and Empowerment Division of BMH North Sumatra, M. Arif Firdaus.

The rice distributed was a donation from Power Team, a partner of BMH North Sumatra that has been involved in various social activities, including mass circumcision programs.

The caretaker of the Hidayatullah Quranic Boarding School in Polonia, Irwan Halawa, stated that the aid is very helpful for the school's needs, particularly in providing meals for the students.

“We express our gratitude to BMH and Power Team for providing this rice aid to us. May Allah grant them abundant rewards, as well as health and success always. Aamiin,” said Irwan.

Gratitude was also expressed by the caretaker of the Darul Hijrah Quranic Boarding School, Fatih Muammal Intifadhah. He appreciated the aid distributed by BMH North Sumatra in collaboration with Power Team for the students' needs.

The rice aid is expected to alleviate the boarding schools' food expenses while supporting the students so they can remain focused on their education and Quranic memorization activities.

M. Arif Firdaus stated that community support for the needs of boarding schools is an important part of helping ensure the continuity of the students' education.

“We all hope that they will become the next generation that will build this nation based on faith and Islam toward a better life,” said Arif.

In addition to assisting with the daily needs of the boarding schools, this aid distribution is also expected to be a form of sustainable concern for the education and development of the younger generation, especially the students memorizing the Quran.
